Guidelines on Language and Behaviour
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all parents.
At IPF, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all parents. To ensure this, we strictly prohibit the use of abusive language, threats, or any kind of disrespectful communication on the platform.
What Counts as Abusive or Inappropriate Behavior?
The following are not allowed on IPF — in chat, product listings, comments, or profile descriptions:
Use of insults, slurs, or offensive language toward another user
Threatening, harassing, or intimidating someone
Sexist, racist, casteist, or discriminatory remarks of any kind
Mocking, belittling, or shaming another parent
Sending repeated unwanted messages or spamming
Any behavior that goes against IPF's mission of building a respectful, parenting-first community
What Happens If Someone Violates This?
If you break these guidelines, IPF may take the following actions — depending on the severity:
Mild (e.g., accidental rudeness)
Friendly warning
Repeated abuse
Temporary account suspension (7–30 days)
Severe abuse or threats
Permanent account ban + loss of access
How to Report Abuse?
If someone behaves inappropriately with you:
Go to the chat or user profile
Tap the Report option and share the reason
Our moderation team will review and take action within 24–48 hours
Does IPF Monitor Chats?
IPF uses automated tools to detect spam, abuse, and risky behavior
In case of a report, our moderation team may review the conversation to understand what happened
We value your privacy, and messages are only reviewed when flagged
Final Note
